Indoor Dining Suspended
We have temporarily suspended all indoor seating at NoRa.
We are grateful to our NoRa community who have continued to support us and our local partners during these past months of uncertainty.
Throughout the early months of the pandemic, we had to make many changes to how we ran the business to make it safe, accessible and practical for our customers and our staff. We have increased sanitation measures, established social distanced seating within our reduced 50% allowed capacity, exclusively used disposable utensils and cups, offered online ordering and contactless pickup. And...we have worn our masks. The health and safety of our staff and our NoRa community has always been our top priority. As the Covid-19 virus continues to impact too many lives (including ones closest to us) we take state guidelines and common sense safety measures seriously.
Unfortunately, for the past several weeks we have not been able to ensure a safe, indoor dining experience. Too many guests have chosen to ignore our posted rules regarding indoor mask requirements while seated. Even verbal reminders have gone unheeded. As a result, we have made the decision to cease ALL indoor seating effective December 7, 2020 until further notice.
We will be exploring options on how to re-open indoor seating while keeping our community and our staff safe. The patio will remain open for seating and all menu items are currently available for takeout.
For this inconvenience, we apologize to those that have worked hard to keep themselves and others healthy and safe. We look forward to welcoming you back to your favorite table with your favorite latte, a good book and a delicious pastry soon!
Wine, beer, cider and ...
Shortly before the shutdown, NoRa had introduced wine and beer to our expanding menu. Based on feedback from our wine tastings plus some recommendations from customers, we have expanded our selection. Many Red, White, Rose and Sparkling options available by the glass or the bottle!
Wine not your thing, how about…
We are proud to support our favorite local brewery – Durham’s Ponysaurus! In addition to SEVEN (7) Ponysaurus brews, we are currently highlighting the world's greatest beer - Guinness - along with a North Carolina favorite, Highland Gaelic Ale.
We love our locals! Come try our current cider option from Bull City Cider.
For those looking for something a little lighter, we offer a variety of White Claw flavors. If you're feeling adventurous, you can be part of testing group for "Hard Italian Sodas" as we try out an adult version of our popular drink.
